I was able to easily attach them to my walls and i just gently pulled one side and it came off very easy, and the paint was not ripped off my wall, like what happened before with other gel pads. They are also so easy to clean, when they get a little dusty just rinse with water and let dry. So i attached it to the wall and stuck one of my heavy wooden cutting boards to it, and it stuck for hours! I guess i take back my suspicions! It sticks really well and is easy to remove without damaging the surface it was attached to.
